The Spring of the Sun, explores the interplay between geometry, reflection, and perception through a meticulously constructed layered sculpture made of mirror-polished stainless steel. Inspired by patterns found in both nature and traditional Iranian architecture, the piece deconstructs symmetry and order, inviting the viewer into a shifting spatial experience.
The mirrored surfaces transform this cold, industrial material into something alive—responsive and participatory. As viewers approach the work, they not only observe it but become a part of it. Their reflections are fragmented, multiplied, and reassembled within the piece’s recursive geometry, questioning the boundaries between observer and object, reality and illusion.
This work is an invitation to contemplate light not as a static element, but as a dynamic force—bending, diverging, and interacting with space and self. It offers a visual meditation on the nature of perception and the poetic potential of reflective materials in contemporary art.
